AI as the engineering default
AI isn't a sideshow — it's how we specify, review and ship faster without lowering the quality bar.
Principal Architect Engineer
From zero to production — product, platform, teams and scale.
I build and scale complex systems in production — from healthcare to data platforms, AI and devices at scale.
What I solve
Design and scale distributed systems, microservices and high-availability platforms from zero to production.
Understand the real problem before coding. Break down business challenges into clear, executable technical solutions.
Build, structure and lead engineering teams. From 1 to 15+ engineers, with processes, culture and autonomy.
Think from user problem to infrastructure. Work with product, design and business to deliver real impact.
Implement agents, RAG systems, LLMs and AI workflows integrated into the product core.
Build complete data platforms — ingestion, transformation, warehouse and visualization at scale.
CI/CD, containers, MDM, security, compliance (HIPAA/ISO 27001). From code to deploy.
Brazil operation from scratch: office, infra and processes; cross-functional hiring — sourcing, interviews, recruiting and training.
How I think
Principles behind architecture, people and delivery — what you can expect working with me.
AI isn't a sideshow — it's how we specify, review and ship faster without lowering the quality bar.
Domain, load, failure modes and compliance come first. Scaling unclear systems creates fatal debt.
Observability, security and auditability are designed in — not bolted on after release.
I set context and the quality bar, then trust execution. Strong teams don't need micromanagement.
I still architect and review what matters. Serious technical leadership means shipping with the team — not only slides.
What I deliver
Concrete metrics and scope — not a generic skill list.

Academic background
Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC)
2019 — 2020
Something I'd wanted to do for years — almost a hobby: I already read philosophy on my own; I enrolled to study again inside the university setting. That stretch deepened ethics and metaphysics, working through Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, Descartes, Voltaire, Leibniz and the Cynic tradition — among other authors and lines of thought.
São Paulo State University (UNESP)
2012 — 2016
The natural next step after the technical diploma at university level. I started a few years after finishing the CTI — in between I worked as an intern and freelancer, already in the field. The program stressed less routine language coursework and more how complex systems and project lifecycles work, and how technology maps to real problems — a layer beyond what I already had from technical school.
Colégio Técnico Industrial "Prof. Isaac Portal Roldán"
2007 — 2009
My first real dive into programming: a technical program alongside high school. I already knew a bit about it because my brother had taken the same course before I enrolled. At 15 I started training seriously as a programmer — C, Pascal and Delphi — plus the web stack: HTML and JavaScript, which is what I carried forward most in my career.
